"First Walk" - Sandhill Crane parents look on proudly as their colt takes its first walk with them. Sadly, this colt was snatched by a predator on the 6th day of its life. I was blessed to capture some of the special moments of its short life.
 
I edited this photo by blending in some textured backgrounds and grass to replace the asphalt road they were walking on. I felt the photo deserved a more natural environmental look to capture this precious moment between the parents and the colt.
 
Printed on Pro Luster Paper.  Pro Luster Paper, with a soft luster finish, will provide a slightly textured surface that resists both glare and fingerprints while offering great color saturation and contrast.
 
Print is mounted in an acid-free 11"x14" mat (white with black core) with a 1/8" foamboard backing, sealed in an acid-free protective bag.
